Providence Hospital Breast Cancer Outreach Fund was started in 2008 by Providence Hospital "Breast" Friends Breast Cancer support group. The fund provides financial assistance for patient’s going through breast cancer treatment at Providence Hospital. The assistance is based on identified financial needs. The fund is dispersed through an application process and committee recommendations. Referrals can be made to the program through health care providers, social workers, case management and patient or family request. Donations are tax deductible through Providence Foundation.
